Laura é uma variedade de batata de pele vermelha, semi precoce e sabor aromática. Conhecida como "A rainha da pele vermelha" é de alta qualidade culinária.

Os seus tubérculos são ovais alongados com olhos muito superficiais. Apresenta um paladar excelente com aptidão para processamento frito e um alto rendimento com alta percentagem comercializável. Resistente aos nemátodos (RO1 a RO5). Muito tolerante ao míldio da folha e do tubérculo.

AR 07-3009 (Levante) is a variety resulting from a cross between Agrico Research's AR 01-3218 parental line and the Almera variety. Initially developed for resistance to mildew, Levante showed good results in trials and was subjected to additional tests to cater for the supermarket sector. It has firm flesh after cooking, a light skin and is suitable for boiling, pureeing and baking. It meets the demands of the modern consumer and is suitable for organic cultivation or with reduced use of phytosanitary products.
